"I recommend the chicken Alfredo. It was delicious and creamy. Breadstick was nicely made and crunchy. Also had their chocolate cake, very rich. Would have been great some ice cream on the side. I only saw my waitress a couple times and was only able to get a refill once."

"Lovely dinner with excellent food. The salmon was cooked perfectly and just look at the size of the asparagus. The marinara is made in house and is delicious. My partner also enjoyed the shrimp primavera. I highly recommend stopping in if you're in Ely! It's not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for."

"The Italian food here is surprisingly good and I'm so glad that my wife and I finally gave it a try. I'm not gonna lie, we've been passing through Ely for a very long time and always skipped over this place thinking, how good could the food really be being in a small mining town on the eastern edge of Nevada be? But, on our last visit, we had a hankering for pasta and was pleasantly surprised at what we found. As cool as the building is on the outside, we found the dining area to be charming and well decorated. The atmosphere at the bar was really nice as well and the pours they offered we nice and generous. As far as food goes, my wife had their spaghetti and meat balls which was very tasty (I know because I finished up her plate) and I had their chicken alfredo and it was delicious! Yeah, I know, basic stuff but I was tempted to get their chicken arrabiata as it looked outstanding but now, I have a reason to come back again. Of course, what's a good meal without good service and what I can tell you is that our server Jamie, was super friendly and maybe more importantly, very attentive. Needless to say, this is a place I would definitely recommend."

"Stayed in Ely Sept 2025 and this is the second time I have eaten at Mr. G's and it was delicious. Staff is great, they offer gluten free pasta (although the extra price is a bit high) and the atmosphere is wonderful. Food is delicious and restaurant is spacious and clean. They did not have much of a wine list in the restaurant adjacent to the hotel; not sure why, but the house wine was fine. Definitely a great place to dine while in Ely!"

"I have tried almost everything on the menu. From the pan seared Steak to the lasagna. Every item cooked to perfection. The freshness is a flavor no Restaurant can duplicate. Hand made meatballs, burgers, home made bread, freshly made pasta, pizza, chicken all made and prepared fresh daily. The seafood is also a true treat.Hands down the best Italian restaurnt in Ely and northern Nevada. If you are driving through tell them Twist from Vegas sent you."
